The US rapper who was left hanging on his wedding day in March after his bride-to-be caught him flirting with a bartender on the night before says it was not his fault.

Speaking on TMZ Live on Monday, April 13, YC a.k.a Yung Chris blames the entire drama on the bartender even though he admitted he was going to do something more than tipping her on the night before he tied the knot.

While dodging an apology for almost sleeping with another girl on the eve of his wedding, YC says, ''it's the night before my wedding... So, whatever happens now they ain't gonna hold it against me.''

Moreover, the rapper claims the bartender got flirty with every drink she served him that night in Vegas.

However, his fiancee, Tia Anderson never showed up at the alter and left him stranded in front of his friends and relatives.

YC says she 'still has an attitude' about his cheating and isn't so sure she'll forgive just yet.

Will US rapper, Riff Raff be criminally prosecuted after his bodyguards reportedly threw one of his fans off stage like a piece of sh**?

Riff Raff was performing at a Miami club on Saturday night [April 11] when a gutsy fan jumped onstage and laid hands on the artist.

Unfortunately for the overexcited fan, the rapper's bodyguards do not rejoice over such an act as they immediately bundled him up and threw him back into the crowd like a rag doll.

TMZ reports that Riff's crew has been instructed to manhandle people who jump onstage like its a wrestling match.

The good news is the victim, named Adam isn't planning to sue because he knew a beat down awaits him if he did what he did.

Wow, that's very kind from a boy who was dragged by his neck and badly bruised and battered for touching his music icon.

Ugu Mbatha-Raw Actress is the latest addition to Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'

 

British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond the Lights), has joined Emma Watson for the live-action adaptation of Disney’s 'Beauty and the Beast'.

According to Variety, Mbatha-Raw, will star in the live-action adaptation alongside as Plumette the feather duster.

She joins Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Emma Thompson, Audra McDonald, Kevin Kline, Ian McKellen among others.

Directed by Bill Condon, 'Beauty and the Beast' will hit theaters on March 17, 2017.

Davido No female artiste on star’s sophomore album

 

Davido’s sophomore album will not contain any female artiste.

The pop star is set to release a new album entitled ‘Baddest’, and he has released a tracklist. Interestingly, no Nigerian female artiste is featured on the album.

Davido’s album is a 20-track compilation, and contains an array of features and collaborations from a number of star artistes. Psquare, Don Jazzy, Runtown, Uhuru, DJ Buckz, Akon, Meek Mill, Wale and Trey Songz are all on the LP.

But the females are conspicuously missing on it, including the most prominent singers such as Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje, Yemi Alade, Seyi Shay and Emma Nyra.

The HKN star will be releasing his album on Monday, June 8, 2015, a day after his graduation from Babcock University.

New York Fashion Week Supreme Court orders Prestigious Fashion Week to relocate!

New York Supreme Court has ordered the renowned New York Fashion Week to move from Lincoln Centre; a venue that has been home to the fashion week for over five years now.

According to Fashionista.com, "the Supreme Court of the State of New York County ruled that the Lincoln Center...the home of NYFW since 2010 -- could no longer be used as a show site because it violates its use as a public park".

But after months of searching the organizers settled on two new locations for New York Fashion Week: Skylight at Moynihan Station at 360 West 33rd Street in Midtown, and Skylight Clarkson Square at 550 Washington Street in SoHo.

The spring 2016 shows starting from September 10th through 17th, 2015 will be at these new locations.

Celebrity couple, Kim Kardashian and hubby, Kanye West have baptised their first child together, North West, in an Armenian church in Jerusalem.

According to a report by TMZ, the baptism of North West was like any Kardashian event as it turned out a total and complete circus.

It was further reported that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West showed up with Khloe Kardashian on Monday afternoon, April 13, 2015 at the Saint James Cathedral, an Armenian church in Jerusalem, to baptize 22-month-old North.

Kim was allegedly mobbed as she walked into the church, shielding baby North from the massive crowd that had gathered outside the church.

Ukraine crisis: Further weapons withdrawals agreed

 

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to call for the withdrawal of more types of weapons in Ukraine's east, as fresh clashes renew fears for a truce there.

The deal was made at talks in Berlin involving foreign ministers from the two countries, and France and Germany.
It reportedly covers mortars, tanks and heavy weapons below 100mm calibre.
But Germany warned the talks had also emphasised differences over the year-old conflict between Ukraine's military and pro-Russian rebels.

Alaska Airlines plane 'flew with worker trapped in cargo hold'

 

An Alaska Airlines plane declared an emergency and made a priority landing in Seattle after taking off with a worker trapped in the cargo hold.

The pilot of flight 448, bound for Los Angeles, was alerted by the sound of banging "from beneath the aircraft", an Alaska Airlines statement said.
Once back on the ground, the baggage handler emerged from the pressurised hold, saying he had fallen asleep.
He "appeared OK" but went to hospital as a precaution, the airline said.
Alaska Airlines later said the worker had passed a drugs test and been released from hospital.

US Blackwater guards jailed for Iraq deaths

 

A former Blackwater guard has been sentenced to life in prison and three others to 30 years over the killing of 14 Iraqi civilians in 2007.

Nicholas Slatten and three others were convicted last year for the killings in Baghdad's crowded Nisoor Square.
A further 17 Iraqis were injured as the private contractors opened fire to clear the way for a US convoy.
The shootings sparked international outrage and a debate over the role of defence contractors in warfare.
Slatten faced a charge of murder, while the other men faced multiple counts of manslaughter, attempted manslaughter and using firearms while committing a felony.

Nigeria abductions: Chibok girls remembered one year on

 

Ceremonies are to be staged around the world to mark one year since more than 200 girls were abducted by Nigerian militant Islamist group Boko Haram.

A procession will be held in the capital, Abuja, with 219 girls taking part to represent each missing girl.
The abduction of the girls in Chibok in north-eastern Nigeria sparked global outrage, with nations such as the US and China promising to help find them.

Election 2015: David Cameron to pledge right-to-buy extension

 

A Conservative government would extend the right-to-buy scheme for housing association tenants in England, David Cameron will say, as he unveils his party's general election manifesto.

The PM will say up to 1.3 million tenants could buy their homes at a discount as a result, insisting the Tories are the party of working people.
The Conservatives will also pledge a fund to help build 400,000 new homes.
Labour said the right-to-buy pledge would cost £4.5bn and was "unfunded".

Voting has held in Sudan today amidst calls for a boycott by the opposition.

The elections which are expected to be won by its war-crimes-indicted president, Omar al-Bashir, held after the main opposition called for a boycott.

BBC reports that small queues formed at polling stations, with voters saying the elections guaranteed stability.

However, the opposition and Western powers said the polls lacked credibility because of political repression.

Rights groups welcome release of Chinese women activists

 

Rights groups have welcomed China's release of five activists who were held for more than a month, saying it was driven by an international outcry.

The women, who had planned protests against sexual harassment, were detained shortly before International Women's Day on 8 March.
The US, UK and European Union had all called for their release.
The five have not been charged but their bail conditions mean charges could be brought at a later date.

Three men convicted of gang-raping a teenage girl in Kenya and dumping her in a pit latrine have each received 15-year jail terms.

Reports that the rapists were ordered by police to cut grass as a punishment caused global outrage last year. The Kenyan police deny the claims.

More than 50 of the girls abducted by Boko Haram last year were seen alive three weeks ago, a woman has told the BBC.

She saw the girls in Gwoza town before the Boko Haram militants were driven out of there by regional forces.

Boko Haram sparked global outrage when it seized more than 219 girls from Chibok town a year ago.

Faslane protest: Campaigners blockade nuclear base 28 minitutes ago

 

Anti-nuclear activists are taking part in a blockade of the Faslane naval base on the Clyde.

The Scrap Trident Coalition's Bairns Not Bombs demonstration aims to shut down the base, which is home to the UK's Trident nuclear weapons system.
Protesters gathered outside gates to the base from 07:00 in an attempt to stop workers from entering.
The blockade, which is part of a series of events organised by Scrap Trident, is due to last until 15:00.
