Nick Cannon has revealed he gets inspiration from visiting children's hospital.
The 'America's Got Talent' host said this while launching his new children's book Neon Aliens Ate My Homework, at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children in NYC on Monday March 16.
Nick, who shares twins with ex wife Mariah Carey, admits that sick children have the ability to smile despite in pain and away from home.
"I can’t give enough words of inspiration to these young people. They inspire me," he told Us Weekly.
"I
mean, just the way they carry on and smile…Knowing all that they go
through, [for them] to be able to smile, to be able to have a good time —
that’s the most inspiring thing,” he continued.
The
actor then confessed that coming to an hospital that takes care of sick
or disabled kids gives him a clearer meaning of life.
"I
come here for inspiration and so there’s nothing I could say to
continue to inspire them except to continue to spread the love and the
joy that they have inside of them."
Aww, What a man!
