New York Supreme Court has ordered the renowned New York Fashion Week to move from Lincoln Centre; a venue that has been home to the fashion week for over five years now.
According to Fashionista.com, "the
Supreme Court of the State of New York County ruled that the Lincoln
Center...the home of NYFW since 2010 -- could no longer be used as a
show site because it violates its use as a public park".
But after months of searching the organizers settled on two new locations for New York Fashion Week: Skylight at Moynihan Station at 360 West 33rd Street in Midtown, and Skylight Clarkson Square at 550 Washington Street in SoHo.
The spring 2016 shows starting from September 10th through 17th, 2015 will be at these new locations.
