The Tom Ford brand which has always been associated with sex appeal takes things a little further with their Black Orchid perfume Ad which features actress, singer and model, Cara Delevinge.
This ad didin't come as a surprise for most, as Cara Delevingne is pictured naked in a bathtub, clutching the perfume bottle.
Nevertheless, schools in the UK have taken action against the campaign, banning it from campuses because they think its raciness is "degrading to women."
The Advertising Standards Authority is keeping the giant billboard of the ad in place, which is located at the corner of Brick Lane and Hanbury Street in East London, since it's over 100 meters from any school or place of worship.
Although Cara's body is on full display, most of it is hidden by the water and flower petals in the tub.
This
isn't the first time a high-fashion designer has enlisted a model to
strip down for a photo shoot, which is why the reactions to this ad is a
bit confusing as some people see it as high handed.
We can't seem figure out why this particular shot, which hardly exposes any of Cara's body parts, is causing such a stir.
What do you think of the ad photo? Feel free to share your opinions.
