Bauchi state Governor, Isa Yuguda, on Wednesday, April 29, lost his 85-year-old mother after a protracted illness, reports say.
The governor, while receiving sympathisers at the Ramat
House in Bauchi, said his mother’s demise is not a surprise as it is a
fate that will befall every soul. He described the deceased, Hajiya Hauwa Yuguda, as an accommodating person, expressing that her death is a great loss to the family.
Yuguda is the eldest son of his mother.
The late Hajiya Hauwa has since been buried at the new Bauchi graveyard at Dungulbi Village along Bauchi-Gombe road.
She is survived by three children and over 30 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
