Davido’s new album will contain a collaboration with Don Jazzy.
The
Nigerian pop star is currently working on an album scheduled for
release this year, and have already recorded a song with Mavin boss, Don Jazzy.
Davido made the hint with a tweet from his twitter handle which reads, “Me and DONJAZZY song gonna fuck the club up yo!!!!!!! JAM!!”
The singer already has a planned collaboration with
US rappers, Meek Mill and Rick Ross. A video for the single with the
former has already been shot by filmmaker, Sesan Ogunro.
Davido has also released the artwork to his forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Baddest’.
The
artwork released onto Instagram, shows a portrait of a child (bearing a
striking resemblance) wearing a jewel-encrusted crown, with a gold
neckchain which bears a pendant that reads OBO, an acronym that
represents his affluent lifestyle.
The HKN star will be releasing his album on Monday, June 8, 2015, a day after his graduation from Babcock University.
Davido revealed this fact in Kenya recently where he performed at the 5th Afrobeatz Festival, Davido said: “I’m
inviting all of you for my graduation on June 7, then on June 8 I
launch my album. I have worked hard for this degree, day in day out.”
